The construction phase of the build is pretty much complete. The fiber glassing is completed except for the glassing of the skeg.
In this photograph the decks to the stern and bow buoyancy chambers have been dry fitted along with their watertight hatches - the decks will be glued in permanently after each chamber has been painted with two pot 'Everdure' timber sealer.
After the decks are glued in place the outside and inside of the hull will be sanded and sealed with three coats of 'Everdure' followed by three coats of two pot 'Duropox' paint. Then after fastening the hatches in place and installing the rowlock fittings, we are all ready to go rowing.
