<<<<< BUILDING THE GLOUCESTER GULL LIGHT DORY PART (10) >>>>>

As I have been laid low with Type A Flu, not a lot of progress has been made in the last couple of weeks. I am now on the mend and I have been able to install the centre frame upon which the main thwart will sit. It took a bit of time and a lot of patience to get the bevels and angles correct. I always dry fit before gluing / nailing / screwing things into place permanently - this is a good check, for once the glue sets, it's too late to change things !!!

Post Script - Intermission (2) (see previous post) went without a hitch. The drive belt between the Dynastart motor and the flywheel has been tightened and the motor is going again - Great !!
