Yes summer is really there. Here we have snow and some ice on the canals. Unfortunately the ice is far to thin to carry a skater, but we keep on hoping, while we are practicing on indoor rings.
What you need is the polar weather that has invaded parts of the United States to flow over northern Europe which would freeze everything, perhaps freeze the Ijsselmeer - now that would make a very nice big skating rink!
