This is our fourth grandchild Theodore (Theo).
The name Theodore means 'gift of god'. It is a biblical name derived from the
elements 'theos' meaning god and 'doron' meaning gift. We flew all the way to the UK for his birth, as we had done for his older brother Salem. Joy is a very appropriate word for these occasions.

Yes George, your are right - the new grandson more than took the sting out of the tail of the car rental experience. These sort of events that coming out of 'left field' can certainly catch a person off balance for a while. But there was a lot more to our seven weeks in the UK than this event that was a lot more positive which I shall post about in the coming weeks.
Dad I'm sorry that I didn't see this post until now. It's really funny too because at dinner tonight I thought to myself while looking at Theo 'you are my joy'. Funny how poetic life is xx
