Hi Dan - good to "hear" your voice on my blog again. Yes it's a good analysis isn't it. I think that most of us these days see the need for modern competitive economies - the question really is who does the economy serve? ordinary people or elites? Just as should work to live NOT live to work - so should the economy exist for the greatest benefit of the greatest number of people - that's not socialism or any other 'ism' its just basic fairness, humanity and common sense in my humble opinion.
